corruption in kenya

kenya is threatened with rising hunger and starvation. lack of maize, electricity , water , sugar and much more is rising at a very high rate.the government faces a loss of public confidence. the post election violence can be blamed for the current suffering that Kenyan a facing, but what is and has the government done so far?

Bad politics is still be played in this country. the farmers that fleed during the ethinic violence have not been able to return in their farms in the key agricultural areas.

Corruption seems to be the "super glue" that is holding this grand coalition government that was formed after a troubled and contraversial election in 2008. how good is our government?

Kibaki had promised to fight corruption but it is still the biggest obstacle to any activity in this country. evrywhere you go in Kenya you have to pay a bribe. Kenyan are increasingly disgusted by the government's broken promises

The Kenyan President has shocked us by reapointing a much criticised ant-graft chief justice Aaron Ringera as te director of the Kenya corruption commission (KACC). How is Mr. Ringera To fight corruption if he is deep into it? the president has done this without seeking parliamentary approval. this reapointment has raised troubling questions.

Mr. Ringera has failed to change the culture of impinity in this state. He has failed to bring to Justice Key culprits in massive scandles that cost Kenya billion of dollars e.g Anglo Leasing and Goldenberg scadle in the (1990s)

OBAMA'S CHOICE TO SKIP KENYA

President Obama puts political values over ancestral allegiances. this country's coalition government should learn from the snub. the failure of the first black US president to stop over in Kenya should really serve as a moment of reflection for us as a nation. this is a shame to the government of Kenya and its people.

Kenya is still a tense and unsettled place. a year after it exploded in political violence, we still have internally displaced persons living in camps. How are Kenyan supposed to live in peace and Harmony when their leaders are not!The President and The Prime minister are always "fighting" so are the ministers and the MP's

I totally agree that Obama should not visit Kenya until we buckle up and stop corruption. People should choose democracy over dictatiorship and violence. it is a shame to the Kenyan Leaders who are only interested on satisfying their pockets than their own people! Shame on you! You have embarrased us!

MAIZE SCANDLE IN KENYA.

A government is supposed to protects its people from such dangers. we are told that the poisonous maize from South Africa has already been released to the citizens of Kenya. How can a government want to kill its people?

KENYAN PARLIAMENT IS CORRUPT!

I watched as a member of parliament tried to defend thE house from allegations of corruption. let the truth be told, we are not blind and we can see how corruptly the house business are carried out. an example is the censure motion which are decide on party grounds. if this is not corruption then what is it!
